Kia Ora everyone, it's a beautiful day in the forest. It's now Friday of 'Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori' and the first Friday of 'Mahuru Māori'. If you didn't know already, our website can now be read in both Te Reo Māori and English. To find the translation button go to our website at https://www.treewalk.co.nz/, at the top right corner you'll find two buttons saying 'Māori' or 'English'. Simply click the 'Māori' button and the website will be translated, to switch back just click the 'English' button.

Alert Level 3 is coming!

From Wednesday 01 Sept, you’ll start to see some activity at Treewalk and Redwoods Altitude as our team return to site (working in bubbles). 

We’ll be conducting routine maintenance and tidying up the business ready for when we’re able to reopen!

We are moving to Alert Level 4 from 11.59 pm this evening, Tuesday 17 August 2021.

We will be closed during this time (for 3 days as we're outside of Auckland).

In terms of reopening, we await government advice in terms of alert level changes and will keep you up to date.

  • Coolest place ever! We went at dusk so did half of the walk in the day time and the other half in the semi dark when all the night lights were on! Was such a beautiful walk and loved every moment! The staff were super informative and nice. I will definitely be back in the future!

  • The Redwood Forest is just stunning... The lights are just incredible and it is such a beautiful thing to be walking so high in the trees. We also went back the next day and walked around the forest - still gorgeous. Would definitely recommend.

  • The Redwoods Altitude tree walk is beyond amazing! It was the highlight of our tiki tour of the North Island, and if you’re a wee bit terrified of heights, it was life changing. We felt so safe while being challenged well beyond our comfort zones. The guides are great, very encouraging.
