Redwoods Nightlights is one of New Zealand’s top design-led tourism experiences. It features 34 exquisite lanterns designed by world-renowned designer and sustainability champion, David Trubridge. Floating between 9-20 metres above the forest floor, this award-winning eco-tourism walk is 700 metres long, spans 28 suspension bridges and 27 platforms, and takes about 40 minutes to complete (from the first bridge). It is perfect for those looking for things to do in Rotorua at night!

Did you know that sustainability and protection is at the core of what we do at Redwoods Treewalk?
The walkway has been carefully constructed through a series of slings to avoid damaging the Redwood trees or the existing natural environment 🌲
From the sustainable sourcing of materials, our waste and recycling policies, and our replanting programmes, we do our best to ensure that the forest will be able to be enjoyed for generations to come 🌏

Coolest place ever! We went at dusk so did half of the walk in the day time and the other half in the semi dark when all the night lights were on! Was such a beautiful walk and loved every moment! The staff were super informative and nice. I will definitely be back in the future!

The Redwood Forest is just stunning... The lights are just incredible and it is such a beautiful thing to be walking so high in the trees. We also went back the next day and walked around the forest - still gorgeous. Would definitely recommend.

"perfection" This experience was a true 10/10 for us. The perspective and views it offers of the grove are spectacular and unique. The actual bridge crossings and zip-lining very quickly went from potential impediments to accentuating the experience. Our guides, Jordan and Nicole, were the absolute best.
