Redwoods Treewalk – Key Messages General Description
Walk high among the giant redwoods trees, day or night. Feel the spirit of Rotorua’s iconic Redwood Forest from above and up close among these 118-year-old giant trees. This suspended 30-minute ecological walk provides a unique bird’s eye perspective of the forest, capturing its picturesque beauty and ambiance, which is even more stunning in wet weather. Learn about the history of this iconic forest, its Californian Redwood giants, the people (iwi) and the land (whenua).
Enjoy at your own pace either individually, or as a group, with no safety harness or training required. Appreciate the peacefulness and spirit of this special forest and leave feeling inspired, refreshed and rejuvenated.

Did you know that sustainability and protection is at the core of what we do at Redwoods Treewalk?
The walkway has been carefully constructed through a series of slings to avoid damaging the Redwood trees or the existing natural environment 🌲
From the sustainable sourcing of materials, our waste and recycling policies, and our replanting programmes, we do our best to ensure that the forest will be able to be enjoyed for generations to come 🌏

Coolest place ever! We went at dusk so did half of the walk in the day time and the other half in the semi dark when all the night lights were on! Was such a beautiful walk and loved every moment! The staff were super informative and nice. I will definitely be back in the future!

"perfection" This experience was a true 10/10 for us. The perspective and views it offers of the grove are spectacular and unique. The actual bridge crossings and zip-lining very quickly went from potential impediments to accentuating the experience. Our guides, Jordan and Nicole, were the absolute best.
